The two Americas.

Let´s face it; America is not only based on a two party system, but is also a two dimensional society and a nation of good or bad, white or black, right or wrong, sweet or bitter, handsome or ugly, smart or stupid, vinnner or looser, rich or poor, straight or crooked,  strong or week, light or heavy, brave or timid, free or enslaved, international or domestic, and finally God or Satan.

This simplicity is the reason that whenever the International part of USA try to venture into global politics or get caught up in local conflict or complicated, multy-faceted, heterogeneous affairs in Middle East, Asia, Africa or South America they make so many mistakes and even their friends become their enemies.

We do have a track-record for more than the last hundred years:

1: Spanish-American war, was a conflict fought between Spain and the  USA in 1898. Hostilities began in the aftermath of the internal explosion of the USS Maine in Havana harbor leading to American intervention in the Cuban civil conflict. The real aim was the  American acquisition of Spain's Pacific Possessions that led to US involvement in the Philippine Revolution and ultimately in the Philippine-Amrican war. A major side effect  of the American expansion into the Pacific , the annexation of Hawaii and the Philippines as well as maritime expansion leading  to the proclamation of an Open Door China policy in 1899–1900, was the Japanese naval defence expansion in the Sea of Japan and The Korean peninsula; this lead to the Russo-Japanese war and the elimination of Russia as a Pacific power, which again lead to German colonization of northern Chinese ports and cities.  The US- Japanese naval arms-race was now  on full scale.

2: The so called I WW, which was initially planned and initiated as a small local conflict, by the British secret service to prevent Austrian-Hungary naval access to the Adriatic and the Suez Canal, but then grew and grew until  the whole world became involved. The USA declared war on  Germany on April 6, 1917. The U.S. was an independent power and did not officially join the Allies but it closely cooperated with them militarily but acted alone in diplomacy. The U.S. made its major contributions in terms of supplies, raw material and money, starting in 1917 and by then the UK owed a hundred times more to American banks than Germany- Austria did. To get  that kind of money back, the US had to make sure that Germany lost. This ended in the total redrawing of centuries old European borders, millions of displaced and refugees, tears, suffering and......the birth of Hitler and Stalin as dictators.

3: With the help of these two , "The little corporal" and "The man of steel", the 20th century turned into the most extrem inhuman age of humanity ever. Tricking/provoking Japan into the Pacific War, since FDR had promised never to join a European war again, the USA crowned the peak of civilian destruction by vanishing Hiroshima and Nagasaki from the face of the planet. The brutal destruction and Christian/Communist killing went on in Korea, Hungary, Tibet, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, mostly by gigantic, ongoing, endless bombing raids and terror of civilians. Next came the integration of the African continent with countless wars and the Israel / Palestinian conflict and the bloodbath of Islamic middle east.  Starting the 21st century when the Bush administration began actively pressing for military intervention in Iraq in late 2001 allegedly to eliminate Saddam Hussain´s weapons of mass destruction , brought the World to where it is today, with no end in sight to terror, murder, bombings, refugees, death, hunger and destruction.

When and how will all this end ? Who knows ?
